Meet the Team
Nicole Roca
Nicole is the passionate, imaginative, and spirited co-founder and vocal coach at Limelight Performing Arts. A Bay Area native, Nicole started singing and dancing when she was young and has never stopped training and performing. She has her BA in Theater arts from Cal-State Fullerton and has taken classes in vocal performance, theory, vocal pedagogy, improv, voice over, dance and acting. Working on stage and behind the scenes in theater companies and schools throughout Northern and Southern California as well as on the high seas as a production vocalist with Carnival Cruise Lines.
Nicole is a patient and creative teacher who loves building a relationship with her students and provides an encouraging environment for them to expand and explore their unique voice.
When she’s not coaching, Nicole can be found singing with Bay Area cover band The Peelers, lending her singing and speaking voice to toys, commercials, and radio ads as a voice over artist working with companies such as LeapFrog, Hallmark, Google, and Rover.com, or snuggling with her double doodle puppy Sullivan.

Katie Harrison
Katie is a co-founder and business manager here at Limelight Performing arts. She is also a Limelight parent!
Katie has always loved performing arts. As her mother tells her, as soon as she was talking she was singing and as soon as she was walking she was dancing! She spent years competing in group singing competitions and dancing competitions with several local studios. She also performed in musicals with Children’s Playhouse and San Jose Children’s Musical Theater.
As is the circle of life, Katie has spent the last decade on the other side as a stage mom. She is a stage-makeup, hair styling, costume-fixing pro!
When she’s not supporting our studio, Katie loves spending time with her husband and kids, painting murals and doing DIY projects on her house, baking new recipes and snuggling her cats and bunny.
